Dental hygiene is essential from the earliest years of life. Oral health problems that start in the childhood can lead to serious diseases for adults if these aren’t properly treated.
For this reason, Pardiñas Dental Clinic has conducted an oral health campaign in several schools in A Coruña. Pardiñas Clinic hygienists, Cecilia and Laura, have taught about oral health to more than 200 children between 4 and 11 years. In addition to the talk, each child received a bag with a hygiene kit and various gifts, such as the book “Pérez, la verdadera historia”. In this story, children can discover how the Ratoncito Pérez childhood was, and why he collects baby teeth of all children in the world.
In this talk, the children were also invited to join the Club Ratoncito Pérez. This club, whose access is completely free, joins various dental clinics and children in Spain with the goal of promoting the care of teeth and mouth during childhood. In addition, club members participate in the draw for a trip to Disneyland Paris with all expenses paid.
For now, the campaign has led Rosalia de Castro and Calasancias schools, but our intention is to bring this initiative to as many schools as possible.
